Meet JANE

Hi there


If you are reading this then you are more than likely looking to make changes in your life and are bemused, bewildered and confused by the volume of conficting diets and wellness advice in the public domain. Fear not, there is no one size fits all. We are all different and what works for your best friend may not work for you, and vice versa. My role is to help you sift through the muddy waters and define and set your health goals and then achieve them through support and accountability. I will be your biggest cheerleader and hold your hand on your transformational journey to long term sustained health.


I have had my own health issues; I can tell you. As a young woman, I struggled with disordered eating, unimaginable cravings, perfectionism and over exercising. Oh, and burning the candle at both ends was a specialty. I'd keep going like a Duracell battery until I keeled over, and my body screamed 'STOP!!!!!'  Eating is cheating and sleep is for wimps I thought. Indeed, I always expected a lot of my body, but living like that was impossible to sustain without inevitably manifesting somehow, somewhere. For me it was as food intolerances and auto-immune diseases. This then led on to fertility issues and latterly I have experienced the challenge of menopause... But ladies and gentlemen, the menopause or andropause is inevitable, but self-care rituals, a good routine and a healthy lifestyle will definitely help your through the menopause/andropause quagmire.


For over 20 years, since my food intolerances developed, I have been a practical and pragmatic health nut. Using food as medicine and exploring different diets and assessing how my body reacted to each one. I have also learnt more about balance and used sleep, healthy eating and lifestyle to manage my auto immune diseases and cravings. I have always exercised hard, but from a place of punishment to counteract the big dinners, parties, alcohol consumption and hangover binges.  Now it is from a place of love and kindness.   I love how exercise energises me, but I also understand the importance of rest and sleep.  Which is such an important foundation to health and productivity.   


20 years of exploration into health and nutrition led me to become certified Health Coach with the Institute of Intergrative Nutrition in New York, which is the leading school of holistic health and nutrition in the World. I have had careers as a lawyer, internet start-up entrepreneur and as a fashion designer.
There have been many highs and lows in my health journey, which is always evolving, but I am committed to learning and healing my body and mind, even if I occasionally fall off the wagon or have a bad spell.  We are all humans doing the best we can and for me that means, amongst other things, putting the past in the past, practicing non-judgmental self-analysis, getting to the root of symptoms and taking positive steps in the right direction, no matter how small and imperfect.  Progress over perfection every time.
